Got my tubes and I'm feeling fine

Today was Mason's big day. He got tubes put in both of his ears. He did great. We had to go in at 7:45am and Mason was not allowed to eat at all. Of course he was flirting with all of the nurses. He had no problem going with the doctors so they didn't have to give him the extra anesthesia. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. The doctor was wonderful; she came out and told us about how bad Mason's ears were. Apparently, his right ear was really clogged and gross. She was extremely surprised that he could stand on his own already especially since his ears were so out of balance. She told us to watch out now that he's balanced. He's probably going to take off running. She also said his speech should really improve. Well now that he can hear, he seems to enjoy listening to himself talk. Just thought I'd let everyone know that Mason did great and is feeling fine.

Glad to hear that the little buddy is doing fine! Look out, he'll be a running and talking machine! He looks like such a big boy with his hair cut in the picture on the side!
